Lelethu Bonongo
My name is Lelethu Bonongo. I currently serve families as a Postpartum Care Provider in Stellenbosch. I always had a passion for working with woman and babies; in the past I thought I would become a nurse. But this amazing work
found me and captured my heart.
‘’Because both you and your baby are emotionally, physically vulnerable, you will be wise to follow certain guidelines. No matter where or how you had your baby, a long period of postpartum nurturing is essential. If you gave birth in
the hospital, the details of eating, resting and caring for your baby may be orchestrated by the staff for the first few days. Let yourself feel like a pampered queen; you deserve to be given good care.’’ — Robin Lim
I am a mother of two, a boy and a baby girl; I am hoping to support you and your family in your unique journey of parenting. I did a short breastfeeding course for health care providers at Mowbray Maternity Hospital.
* I am experienced in providing postpartum care and I am currently in the process of completing the required hours to gain full certification as a PPCP.
