I am Lucinda, a daughter of God, wife to Alfred and a mom to Chloe and Connor. I myself had fertility struggles and had 2 miscarriages. Looking for alternative ways to conceive as naturally as possible is how I started on this journey. Through grace and natural medicine we fell pregnant. Both my pregnancies and births were complication free and beautiful. But somehow with all the preparations to fall pregnant and to birth my babies I was left with a really hard time in both my postpartum periods.

I use this analogy often: birth is like the wedding day and marriage, like parenting, is the day after and the rest of your life. We all plan for these amazing weddings with all the details planned out but we forget to plan and invest in the marriage. Postpartum can be tough and sometimes we just do not get out of the spiral. That is why I am so passionate about women in their postpartum transition, to normalise the new normal. It is my mission to educate women so that they have the knowledge to make informed choices. I believe women should have options, be respected and supported in their choices to feel empowered. Each of us has our own story, feelings, emotions, and experiences. I love to care, listen, embrace and assist.

Pregnancy, birth and postpartum is my God-given passion. I am a qualified WOMBS Birth Doula and do debriefing of trauma in pregnancy, labour and birth and I am currently in the process of completing my certification as a Professional Postpartum Care Provider.

I am based in Western Suburbs of Gauteng, but my services extend across Johannesburg and Pretoria.
